Welcome to the 2016-2017 School Year!

Dear 4th Grade Families,
I am so excited to be working with you and your child this year! Fourth grade is definitely a big year in your child’s life. I feel lucky to be embarking on this journey along with you and I will work to make this year memorable for your child!
It was wonderful to be able to meet so many of you at the ice cream social before school started. For those of you that were unable to attend, please allow me to introduce myself! My name is Jessica Kuznarsky and I am your child’s 4th grade teacher. This will be my 12th year teaching, but my fourth year teaching at Cherry Tree. I am originally from Lafayette, Indiana where I graduated from Jefferson High School. I then attended Ball State University and received my degree in Elementary Education in May of 2004.
I have three children at home, two of whom were very eager for school to start. Ava, my daughter, is 11 and is starting middle school this year! I also have an 8 and a half year old son, his name is Jett. I can’t believe my little guy is in 3rd grade this year! My youngest, Wren, is 19 months old. I enjoyed spending my summer at the pool, library, and vacationing with my family. I hope your summer was filled with fun and family time too!
Again, I am so thankful that I am able to be your child’s teacher this year! This is truly a great place to work!
